Why personal relationships are indispensable in the digital world, what makes the Starke-DMSSolution Day so special and how the event at Office LAB Spreitenbach became the fallow meeting place for Swiss car garages - find out more in this LAB Story.
It is hard to imagine the digital world without Starke + Reichert - for more than 20 years, the originally German provider of Starke DMS (document management software) has been widely represented in the SME world; for three years now, a Swiss foothold has also complemented the world of Starke + Reichert. A world that is digitally characterised and yet lived offline - in the form of events, personal customer appointments and real people instead of chatbots. The Starke-DMS Solution Day, which took place on 2 September at Office LAB Spreitenbach, is also part of this philosophy.
Trust based on human relationships - in the jungle of the digital world
Starke + Reichert mainly serves SMEs in Switzerland - a relatively large proportion of which are garage businesses. This is an industry with a technical affinity, but one that often lacks strong core competences in the area of software. This makes it all the more important to trust a software provider like Starke-DMS, says CEO Stephan Rissi: "Our software is very versatile - our customers rely on our offering in many different business areas. For example, in the digitalisation of accounting, which in turn is very sensitive in terms of data protection. It is therefore essential for us that our customers trust us and always receive personal support in the event of queries - this is the basis of our customer relationships."
The first Starke-DMS Solution Day in Switzerland
The event on 2 September is therefore the logical conclusion of an event philosophy that has been practised by the German parent company for decades. At the first Swiss edition of this event, the Starke + Reichert team deliberately welcomed a large number of customers from the garage sector. They presented innovations in the software, tips and tricks for everyday use, developments in the field of artificial intelligence and the customer referral programme, which is already being enthusiastically implemented by numerous customers and continues to bring the company valuable recommendations and new customers.
However, this theory was not the only focus of the day - an intended side effect was the networking among the customers, who deliberately all came from the same industry. Conversations quickly developed during the breaks over coffee and croissants as well as over a delicious lunch; both about Starke DMS and other industry-relevant topics. A day that, according to Stephan Rissi, "strengthened the connection between us and our customers, but also the network within our customer group".
A complete success - realised in the event premises of Office LAB.
